Akhil Krishna, a prodigy, who has had no formal training on fine arts, has probably inherited and learnt from his famous father, the nuances of fine arts.
In this social art piece titled – “Don’t clip my wings”, Akhil represents the questionable and dangerous fact that, while every baby comes into the earth with a free mind, its freedom is clipped and is shackled by narrow doctrines and identities of religion. These barbs of doctrines, not only impede the child’s flight to expansive horizons – something for which it was probably born, but also causes bloodshed and impedes a child in freely and lovingly embracing another.
If only each child was allowed to have the freedom of thought and to embrace others with Universal love as its core belief.
